Built by Veldon Simpson in 1993.Yah yah yah - it's a big pyramid and you can see the light from space. Visit the nightclub called Papyrus (formerly also called Aku Aku) to see 4 tikis carved by Oceanic Arts' very own legend Leroy Schmaltz. It is located on the second floor in entertainment area of the Pyramid.
There used to be a cruising the Nile ride around the base perimeter of the pyramid. I think the waterway is still there? minus the boat ride.
Useless trivia/myth: there is a myth that Luxor suffers from a bat guano problem. This is because the light on top attracts so many bugs - it also attracts the creatures that eat the bugs. So in a sense, Luxor offers the best bat buffet in town!
