Built in 1995. The Hard Rock neon guitar sign was considered to be one of the most artistic works in the medium at the time of its installation.Other Hard Rock locations feature a Cadillac crashing into the roof, but the Vegas casino had to be different. So in this case a neon guitar tops the entrance and through the porte cochere, in addition to a spectacular 90' neon guitar at street side. Note the elegant strings on the guitars as they shimmer to imaginary guitar riffs.
Even if you are not a "Hard Rock" fan, this casino is worth a visit for the display cases featuring not just typical rock star costumes and guitars, BUT cool vintage toys like lunchboxes and even a Don Ho doll!!! See if you can find memorabilia of King Elvis around this casino (including his black leather jacket and dolls in their rotating collection).
